The Islamic Understanding of Hardship, Part 2

ABSTRACT In the previous part, we studied the fact that suffering is a reality of our life; it is so important that more or less every religion has given an account of human suffering and pain. In  slam we find that in the Quran and in the teachings of the Prophet and the Ahlul Bayt, this issue receives great attention. Continuing with our brief account of Islamic understanding of hardship,  e continue to expound on the importance of suffering and why those who are closer to God may suffer more in this world.
